Workshop Description:

Have you always wanted to learn how to knit but didn’t know where to start? This beginner-friendly course will guide you through the essentials of knitting, combining theory with hands-on practice.

What you’ll learn:

• About the different types of yarn and their uses.

• How to choose the right yarn and needle sizes for your projects.

• How to cast on, as well as the foundational stitches, such as the stockinette stitch and the purl stitch.

• The 2x2 ribbing technique, which is often used when knitting socks or sweater cuffs.

• Knitting equipment - knitting needles, yarn 
• Refreshments (Tea/Coffee/Snacks)

By the end of the course, you’ll not only have a solid understanding of knitting basics but also a small completed piece showcasing your newfound skills.
